# Horizon 2020 expert

Since the beginning of 2016, Dr. Thomas M. Friesacher, MSc has been an independent expert and consultant to the European Commission. Accreditation number EX2016D271735 is the reference European bodies use when they call on that expertise.

Among other work, he is available to the EU framework for research and innovation. Horizon 2020 organised that work around three objectives:

- Scientific excellence
- Competitiveness and market leadership
- Major societal challenges

This appointment is part of the AeroXpert Investigations credential set. It is not an AeroXpert Consulting engagement, and it does not make Commission work available as a commercial package.
