# Aviation expert for media

Dr. Thomas M. Friesacher, MSc explains commercial aviation to audiences in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and to English-language desks. He is a retired line captain and flight instructor, a university-trained accident investigator, and an active researcher in aviation safety. His operational experience covers Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Interviews are given in German or English, on camera or off, live or recorded. The standard is the investigations standard: objective, independent and international. A newsroom is not retained as a consulting client, and an operator in crisis is not briefed by the same engagement that explains the event to the public.

## Typical use

- Assessment of breaking news for television and radio, in studio or remote.
- Interviews for newspapers, online media and trade titles.
- Background on how an operation or a piece of training actually works.
- A clear account of pilot work and pilot training.
- Moderation of a conference or panel where the subject is aviation safety.
